headlights only come on when turn the high beams on...

hey before i waste time diagnosing the headlight system I figured i'd throw a post up. Whats the most common issue for this? Low beam bulbs turn on when i flip the high beams on. High beams dont work at all.

is this a wiring, relay, or stalk/switch issue?

    thanks

What headlights do you have? Are you sure the low beams are turning on, or is it just the highs?

Before checking the relays are you still rockin the sealed beams? As said the sealed beams are dual filimant it could be that your lows died at the same time. I have seen it before.
