    Low beam out, question?

My left low beam went out today and while the fuse didn't look blown I decided to change it anyway just to start the troubleshooting.

That did not work, and there doesn't seem to be any loose wires, and I haven't touched them since I bought the car a few weeks ago.

I'm thinking it is simply a burnt out bulb, but I'm not 100% sure as the "CHECK" light is indicating that I have a low beam out. I was under the impression the "CHECK" light would only go off if a fuse was blown, but obviously that is not true.

Other than a burnt bulb, does anyone have any ideas as to what else it could be?

    Thanks

I'm 99% sure your bulb burnt out. It happens all the time.

The beauty of the active check control system is it monitors actual current flow, so any failure (including an open filament in a bad bulb) will be detected.
