Another odd thing bout the verts is the rearview mirror. On the cabbie's its mounted to the windshield, unlike all other's which have it mounted directly to the windshield frame (cant think of proper name).

The final word is YES, plastic bumpers bolt right up on later model convertibles. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think 'verts ever got anything but diving boards here in the states.

then I'm glad I said i think all cabrio seats are heated...

All of the ones I looked at buying had heated seats, just assumed it was true for all of them.

so at this time of the year, all i have to say is

            SUCKS TO BE YOU!!!!

I hope your shop/garage is warm, doing my seats last december in the 40 degree weather of my uncle's 3 story shop was a bitch, the space heater didn't do much.

                    omg, talk about confusion...

I've read and reread so many threads on bumpers and cabrios.
Why is there so many conflicting opions?

Anyway, so plastic bumpers are bolt ons to say, my 89 vert. fine.
but how does the cabrio in the ebay auction have euro chrome bumpers?

first off this thread is like 3 months old, i think any bumpers can go on cabrios, or maybe he just did some extra work

Plastic bumpers go an any cabrios. Their rear arches are like the late model cars.

yes, cab's take plastic bumpers, be it pre or post face lift. it's a bolt on affair.

here's my red one, pre and post, added a Racing Dynamic rear apron to make it look beter, you'l also need a late style front valance, not a musy but it looks better.
