    Cluster turn signal issue

I'm having some weird issues with the green turn signal lights on my cluster. The left one is no longer working. However, before it went out completely, it worked on and off for a few weeks. It would work for 3 or 4 days, then it would quit working for a week. Then it would work again for 4 or 5 days, then it'd go out for another week or so. The right one is unaffected, it only happened with the left blinker. I'm wondering what the issue is... the bulb, a relay, a fuse? If it was a fuse I suspect both blinkers would be out, so i don't think that's it. I'm switching my SI board out tomorrow or the next day, so I'd really like to get in there and get it fixed at the same time. I tried replacing the batteries in my SI board a couple months ago but it turns out I need to replace the entire board. The issue with the turn signal blinker began about 3-4 weeks after I put the cluster back in, so I don't think wiring connections are the problem. Again, its the left green turn signal blinker on the cluster. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

When I bought my e30, the left blinker light in the cluster didn't work either. I replaced the bulb, which didn't help. Using a multimeter I found that one of the paths on the circuit board had infinite resistance, so I bypassed it by soldering a wire in its place.

Guess I'll swing by the dealership and pick up a couple bulbs and replace both sides. I only have a couple hours tomorrow to work on it, so if that doesn't work I'll break out the multimeter and try again after the weekend.
