Best place to buy new glass for smileys?

    63121385633 and 63121385634 or 63121386635 and 63121386636?

Where is the best place to buy? Every place I've looked is over the retail price seen on realoem.com.

    Thanks all

Honestly, I would be very surprised if any parts distributor could even get them. The only real option at this point is acrylic ones from www.bmwlight.com and they are a lot less expensive. I have done a lot of research into commercial glass polishing services & stuff, but they all remove so much material that the lens would probably shatter if struck with a rock. I haven't found any decent fillers for rock chips either. So, acrylic ones that probably need replacement every ~5 years is the "best" option available now.

Can acrylic replacements like that be baked in the oven for the diy smoking?

Do they have the same look a glass?

      I don't trust it lol

I have a set from BMWlight. They look like the original lenses minus all the pits and cracks that mine had.

About a year ago I've found a guy on ebay who sold glass lenses for euro smileys and hi beams as well. he was in croatia IIRC. he had other stuffs like euro rear view mirror glass.

                  Here it is:

It's listed as e32, e34 glass but e30 uses the exact same one. You might be able to read the part# from the picture... or just double check in realoem if it really is the same. I know for sure that the US lenses are the same on e30, e32 and e34.
