Getting a little closer. The lock issue turned out to be a bad servo in the driver's door. I unplugged it and the locks and keyless work fine. I also rebuilt a couple of the window switches and those all work great now.

My last gremlin is getting the interior light to trigger from driver door.

I am working off of 2 theory's right now as far as my whole interior light issues goes.

My first thought is maybe connector #6 plugs into the back of the door wiring connector, the part that passes thru the wires to the door from the kick panel. I have no idea what the back side of that connector looks like or if that's how wires connect back there but I'm hoping to find a picture of that part somewhere. I can't seem to track it down on realoem either.

The other thought is maybe my door handle switch is bad (why would it not be, that whole assembly seems f'd on my car). This thread seems to detail the steps to fix:

As of now it looks like the BR/VI leaving the timer module is where the lights should be triggered. Grounding that does nothing so there is a wire break/disconnection somewhere and I just need to track it down. I suspect there maybe a disconnect at the bottom of the drivers b-pillar? I think that is the direction the wiring goes to connect the drivers door to the rest of the interior light grounds.

I did get my driver's door lock all freed up and working, reconnected the actuator and all is working perfectly. One thing knocked off the list I guess.

Well, never figured out the problem but I did find a workaround to the issue. Connector #2 in my picture is the output from the timer relay for the lights, it connects to ground when the interior light should be on. I either never found what it is supposed to be attached to or a wire is broken somewhere but to get it working a ran a wire from that connector to the brown/violet at the bottom of the b-pillar. That got everything working as it should, including the dimmer module. I even found a br/vi wire in a box of spare wire so anyone coming across it in the future may have a clue what I did.
