Yes you can do it. First soak them over night in a solution of 5 parts blinker fluid 7 parts mineral spirts with a dash of lime.
Then in the morning pry them open very careful like with a plastic spoon as to not break the glass cause a new lens is not cheap.
You are on your own for the angel eyes part. I have seen a few cab drivers who you may ask for advice. They look sweet on a crown vic.
Then you need 10 bottles of wakky glue. 5 per side. Glue the lense back on and enjoy.
Then go cruise around and tell people to check out your sweet sealed beam set up.

If you want the angel eyes effect you might want something like these, http://www.ebay.ca/itm/EURO-E30-ANGE...item27c8a5e4cf I'm not sure on the quality but it will give you the effect your looking for without bitch fixing sealed beams. Also it looks like you could put HIDS in these housings.

I just tape the thin glow sticks around my headlights. I can change it up every night if I like

Um no... The d.o.e. thing had gotten to a point where it was annoying more then just one person. Infact i'm not the one who even brought it up when it was brought to light. I just supported it.

                          The 4 door e30 isn't the only 4 doors i hate ;)
