EDIT: nvm, i see the brackets and black cheese all over. seems like the bulbs are some D2S. pretty cool.
i have an extra set of euro projectors (just the projector) from the depo's i used for the retrofit, if you just want to replace yours.

and yes, brackets to hold it on. the tape was for sealing purposes only.

You have the spare reflector or projector? My reflector is all faded out from age, don't know of they will bolt up to hella or not though, do the depo use H1 bulbs?

i did some research and a fellow on bfc fit the morimoto minis into us spec projectors with only minor modification to the housing and easy sealing. damnit now im going to waste money and get it. upgraded lighting is a disease.

Im sorry to burst your bubble. But theres no way to make an adaper for fxr to fit any ellipsoid with cutting (hacking) your lights. The projecter is fat and short. Search and you will see theres 3 of us who have fxrs and we all cut the housing. My mh1 will fit stock light with min cutting. Retros for our cars will not be easy due to the light its self. Find a smalled projector and get to work.

Installed my morimoto h1 elite.kit into the eBay smiley
I can already tell its gonna be brighter.... still waiting for the retrofit with e Ellidpsoids and morimoto.mini h1 projectors.

Low quality photos since I was in a hurry when I took these.

The lights are VERY bright. The patter is actually alot cleaner than it looks in the photos.

I drove past an S2000 and his lights looked VERY dim compared to mine (though he had epic cutoffs)

Needless to say, I am VERY happy with the H1 Morimotos.. The light goes VERY far and the color is excellent. I was expecting a little more yellowish but instead they appear almost pure white.

                  The Morimoto Ballasts feel sturdy.

                  Here are some daytime shots

Luckily I was able to find some decent mounting locations.

Doesn't show in the pictures but wow for the 124.00 I spent on the ebay kit, The results are still pretty hot.

the next step will be the H1 Mini projectors!
Morimoto on the driver side. DDM tuning on the passenger side. The lights werent aimed at the camera but I couldn't get a pic that didnt look like that.

I never said anything about FXR. Most likely they will use Morimoto projectors. The guys at TRS aren't n00bs.

I did drill out the caps for the back so it so the bulbs are slightly weatherproof.

                          Can't wait for the mini h1 .

                          Very happy with the kit

Ben, did you change your headlight set up from this past summer?

Is TRS the best place to get Morimoto HID kits? I'm still confused as to what would be the best headlight to use for this kit, Euro smileys? US ellipsoids?
