Wrapping a clear tail light yellow?

If I wrap this light with yellow/clear vinyl wrap for fogs etc. Will the the red show through?

I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

Hold some yellow tint up to it before you apply. I reckon it'd work, probably turn it slightly orange but not much... not enough to get pulled over or anything.
