    Fog Light Problem

Yes I did use the search but if there is another thread just tell me and needing for delete.

Anyways when I bought my 91 325i the PO put in some Sylvania replacement head lights but I'm not sure if he did the fogs also. But the connections in the back of the fog lights are good as I checked them many times before but they do not work. The switch in the cabin will work and on the cluster it will show the green light indicating fog lights are on. So if anyone has had any problems in the past with theirs or a widely known problem that I usually miss out on please tell.

Does the fog relay have to work for that light to turn on?

I've had bulbs burn out pretty soon after install. For example, I put a new left fog bulb in and it lasted maybe 1 week. Since replacing it again, it's been working now for 3-4 months without issue. Maybe try replacing them? You can get them cheap on amazon.
