Are the ebay clear sidemarkers any good?

I am not gonna post a link to the sidemarkers on ebay...I'm sure you have seen them. Besides them being chrome (which I would paint over) does anyone know anything about them? I think I only want ones for the front and not the rears...I am prob getting the clear turn signals from Abraham's unless someone here wants to get rid of a set ;) Bav Auto has the turn signals and clears but they are more than the ebay sidemarkers and the turn signals are $5 more than Abraham's.

Just paint yours black or something. Clears stick out like a sore thumb.

Only the US version M-tech II's. Euros don't have sidemarkers.

I highly doubt you got all of the Euro trim pieces brand new for only $60. I'm sorry, but I just don't belive you.

And what is the point of posting up saying that you got one or two pieces of the trim for $60. who cares.

I don't recommend the ebay sidemarkers. Not only is the plastic surround chrome, but it does not fit right. The plastic will warp and not lay flat against your bumper.

If you want clear sidmarkers, make them yourself. Cheaper, and looks much better if done right. Fred has a nice writeup on his site:

Euro molding is the only answer.

well because the ebay sidemarkers are like 30, so i think its worth it to just get the trim.

and it was only the front i got

It'll run you ~$80 for Euro molding at all four corners.

I replaced the rear center piece, so tack on like ~$35 for that if you want it also.
