What to do with aged smileys...

So in November, I bought some used Bosch smileys from our own Sskoda to replace my standard sealed beams. I got the lights and was initially thoroughly impressed by the change in performance, but I think I'm becoming slightly disillusioned. Thing is, the lights are honestly not in the best of shape. The lenses are good but the seal in one of them is not that great so condensation becomes an issue at times. The most of the adjusters are seized or broken as well. I'm also beginning to wonder about the condition of the metallic reflectors inside the lights are relatively dimmer than most other cars with projectors (not bulbs, fresh PIAAs) and there appears to be hotspots and darkspots when a projector device like this should have none of these ailments.

That being said, what are my options to really restore these lights and would the subsequent cost be worth it when I can buy a pair of Depos? Would restoring the original lights yield better results than new Depos and would new Depos be a worthy upgrade from my original and geriatric Bosches?

Take them apart, clean them out, clean the lenses with lint free cloth and get the optics cleaned up. Reseal the glass and soak adjusters in anti rust solution + oil them or simply get new ones. The parts are all available but are not getting any cheaper.
