The smileys have that large right side cut off. Along with more light output on the road in front of you, also the fact they're "rare" over here. Also you can get slightly brighter bulbs for the euros.

i dont understand what you mean by the large right side cutoff, if you mean the drivers side is lower so it doesnt blind oncoming drivers my us elips do that as well. charlie, open one up and look at the connector, do you have side markers already, if so grab the bulb out of there and see if it goes in... like jordo said its probly just your standard 5w wedge like in the side markers
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I should get them tommorro but there won't be a bulb in the turn signal. He said that they were missing :( but I got them for a great deal so who cares.

one of the plastic things that go on the metal adjustors was broken on my headlights...I knew one was so I picked up a new one from bmw. Well how do I get it on the ball? push really hard? Heat it up? Sorry I don't know the official terms. Any help would be great.

I just think they look better.. the non smileys are a bit plain looking to me, and I always thought US ellipsoids were ugly. of course I prefer smoked over either. it's a matter of taste really, I don't care if nobody else likes them. ;)

Those sidemarker measurements are for an M3

Reverse it for a standard e30 (85mm front, 150mm back)
