Hate to say it, but it is partly your fault for not telling him you wanted insurance. ALWAYS get insurance for international or cross country shipping. Especially on fragile items.

However, a properly packed box would have showed up intact.

They were only packed in the box with some newspaper and 2 german hunting magazines that were complete... untorn, unripped, and closed... what the fuck is grabbing a random magazine off the table and doing nothing with it but placing it flat against the inside of a cardboard boxgoing to do? it sure as shit isn't going to protect these heavy glass headlights...

I'll agree with Mike stuff em in two boxes to make one box that were Wheaties or Cheerios boxes and use the local Aldi flyers for packing material.

Ebay is just so full of Chinese trash these days it's not worth searching to tell you the truth.

so Paypal did decide in my favor and they are saying i have to ship the package back to the seller with a tracking number etc... Ok thats fine.. i'll put all of the broken glass in a box with a couple rocks and his hunting magazines, ship it , send paypal the tracking number, then ill collect my money. what do you guys think?

the rocks are to go in place of the headlights for = shipping weight.. he was a dick to straight up refuse to refund my money. so i will be a dick and ship some rocks back to him instead of the broken headlights

First, that is not the honest thing to do regardless what the seller did. Second, once he receives the "rocks in a box" and reports it, paypal will deduct your account for the amount of the lights and if you dont have that money in there your account will go negative. For you to be able to use your paypal again you would need to make account balance back to $0 so do yourself a favor and just be honest, return the lights, get your money back and move on to another seller...maybe someone from this site?
