Hella euro smileys from germany WTF!!!

got a good deal on some real hella euro smileys from germany cause i could not find any for a decent price...

received them today after like a month of waiting... the box was mangled... and this is how the smileys came



one question.. why is the "smiley" section of the light pictured on the left covered? its got some white covering over where the "smiley" section of it

You should probably be filing a claim and getting a hold of the seller and get this handled before trying to figure out why the smilie portion was covered. I would be pissed if i had waited that long (and I did) and my lights came in that condition (they didn't).

Picture works fine, Was the box opened by US Customs? a Photo of said box when you received it in damaged shape and contents always helps your point when dealing with a shipping issue.

i understand that, they are both the same lights everything is exactly identical but the left pictured light has some white shit covering the "smiley" portion i have filed a paypal claim and contacted the seller as well as USPS.

i'm just fucking pissed by this situation i figured you guys might like to see some smashed Euro smileys :)

that's not white shit covering it. It's most likely the chrome on the plastic flaked off because the light was filled up with water or had a lot of condensation inside the housing at one point.

The only thing you can do about it is either replace it or spray it flat black, which is what you'd do if you were to make them "smoked"

I may be stating the obvious but ...replace the glass, take apart the other one and remove the covering over the smiley cut out if there is something covering it.

Ok so, I contacted seller, usps, ebay and paypal...

Buyer refuses to refund my money. USPS says im fucked because he didnt insure the package.. ebay wont do shit and says i have to go through paypal.. so now im waiting on paypal to see what they will do... ... sigh

i have euro smileys on the car now. i bought these ones cause they were advertised as great condition with little to no wear n tear and pics showed 2 smileys not a smashed smiley and a headlight with some random shit covering the smiley... i am thinking maybe if i just clean up one of the lenses thats on the car i can use that to fix the broken light.. i don't know.. this sucks balls fuck ebay

it is indeed something covering the smiley section i can see inside the light its a white cover over the smiley cut out.. i just hope it's easily removable i just dont know why one had it and the smashed one doesnt.. i couldnt find the white piece laying in the mangled box anywhere so i don't think it had it

oh i left negative feedback alright. the guy tells me its the post offices fault and they owe me a refund. and he "will not refund any money". Yet he didn't bother to insure the lights so the post office won't do shit. ebay wont do anything because apparantly i wasn't verified on either ebay or paypal at the time and paid as a guest?? so now i have to deal with paypal

my feedback went something like this

"not as advertised & lights were smashed. seller refused to refund my money."

or it was very close to that..

i still have the box and all the packing material and will take a picture if need be. the box was fucked. i couldn't believe it when i thought i saw that someone had put garbage on my door step. Come to find out it's the headlights i just had shipped from germany.. then i was like, WTF! lol. They were only packed in the box with some newspaper and 2 german hunting magazines that were complete... untorn, unripped, and closed... what the fuck is grabbing a random magazine off the table and doing nothing with it but placing it flat against the inside of a cardboard boxgoing to do? it sure as shit isn't going to protect these heavy glass headlights...
