    Dumb Smiley Q

ok I searched and had no luck. How do you make the cut off on smileys go to up and right instead of up and left?

The rear part of the ellipsoid is held in by 4 screws. Well undo all those screws and you can see how 2 of them slide and the other 2 have just another set of holes they go into. rotate them a bit and that makes them RHD.

You have to pull it out a bit to rotate it because there is a tongue that goes into one of 2 slots in the main housing for alignment. Just move the tongue from one slot to the other.

ok I think I may have figured it out. Do you just unscrew the three screws that hold on the projector and rotate it a little? I guess we'll see :drink:

while you have it off it's a good idea to reseal the ellipsoid assembly to the housing with sillicone. they tend to leak after a while, especially if they are old.

In european ellipsoids they are all H1. You just take off the back cover and undo the flimsy metal clip.

On US ellips you have to twist them out because they are 9005/9006.

On the high beam do you twist the entire black cap off?

thats right. my drivers side high was a BITCH.. i tried gripping with pliers, with a rubber gripper, with anything.... i eventually had to get one of those Strap-Wrench things to unscrew it. it seems some salt or junk got in there and hardened like concrete.

once i got it open it wasn't so bad.
