Euro non' smiley Vs. Euro smileys

I have read numerous Lighting thread over time and am sure it been covered I just dont remember.

Is there a diiference in the light pattern between smiley's and non' (BOTH being euro's) ???

I bought a set (impulse buy) off ebay and just didnt relize that they were NON smiley's. . They are Hella's w/city light in good shape and came w/ Euro grills, so I'm not that unhappy. Plus I KNOW they will be tter then my sealed beams. ;)

you will be happy still...the beam cutoff is the same but the smile lets a little more light out directly infront of the car. Its prob not that big of a diff though.

the rings just slide off...its not hard at all. you really don't know how crappy sealed beams are till you get ellips. You will be VERY happy w/ the improvment ;)

there is a big difference in the 2 light sets. the non-smileys fall apart after a few weeks, and you cant see anything with them. what a bad decision, you will regret it the rest of your life!!!!!
haha! its just a personal pref. the actual ellip housing is almost the exact same. I think the majority of people pick the smileys so that everyone can see they paid the money, while the non-smilies look the same as the U.S. ellips.

they do a little b/c of the smile part...it lets a little more light out directly infront of the car I think
