someone just got a really good deal. They fetch 300 euros on avg these days.

I sourced them back in 2004 for 80 Euros and sold them in 2010 for 100 Euros - a whopping profit.

I was aiming for 200 Euros. Oh well.

Also depends on which tint they are. Pinkish or dark. Have both and I like the darker ones on my white M but the red M can pass with the pinkish ones.

I just bought some, I think they're the darker of the two.

I don't even have an M or an early model for that matter, but one day when I buy my M3 I'll already have startecs.

I saw a set on ebay that were new in the box....they were absolutely perfect and so beautiful, then suddenly became very ugly due to what the guy was asking $650+ $50 shipping from Germany.

Yes they are on a dedicated drift car, i occasionally swap em out for ebay lights. Yep shit happens, if they get destroyed so be it...theyre tail lights, someones gonna eventually start making these im sure.

I get the issues with it, but I'm not new to the rarity game (surprisingly my charger also has rare r/t tail lights) but in the chargers case they are at least being repopped. If this were a super extremely rare item, I'd probably just have them on a shelf, but they're not at that level and It's really only a matter of time before someone steps up and makes em, in which case I'll retire these and buy reps.

Bottom line they look good and every e30 owner either loves me or hates me for it.
