    Help identifying some Hella H4/H1

I'm in the process of rebuilding the front end of my 318is and have a questions about the Hella H4 and H1 lights that were in it. One side was broken when I picked up the car and I want to make sure I end up with the same lights, as the PN's and numbers on the lights dont really pull up much in Google.

    First is the H4.
The number on the tag on the back is 1A3 002 850-00
    HC/R 02
    E1 12.5
    14578

The numbers on the lens are
    304-115 704
    50R-00514

On to the H1... There was no tag on this one, so all I have are the numbers on the lens.

    04 HR
    E1 20
    14464

    313-110 480

Thanks in advance for the help.

Just order up a new 5 3/4" Hella H1 and this is what you'll get.

Same thing, they are universal 5 3/4 lights.

Barry, I don't think this is accurate?

The mounting bases for H1 & H4 bulbs are completely different.
You need an H1 & H4 specific housing, NOT the same lights.

Go to www.danielstern.com for examples and matching up to what you currently have.

Chris, you misunderstood me. I'm not saying they are the same lights.
