Centre light panel, ever seen one?

Hey guys, cam across this thing on eBay. The rear of my second E30 was backed into and I'm going to replace the tail panel and thought this might be cool to do at the same time. I've seen a similar thing on E21s but never on an E30. Does anyone have a photo of one installed?

I saw one in a pick-n-pull and I thought is was a homemade part. I didn't think it looked right on the e30. Just my opinion.
