    Euro Smiley question

Are the glass lenses removable/replaceable? My right side low beam was shattered, have no idea how. Do I have to replace the whole low beam on that side or just the glass lens?

I have to do the same thing. Should be able to heat at a low temp enough to break down the adhesive holding the lens on. I've heard some people put it in the oven but idk what temp and for how long

You can bake the whole light on low heat for 10-15 minutes to soften the adhesive, then gently pry it off with a plastic wedge/paint scraper. I don't remember the exact temp but you can find it by searching. Someone else will have to chime in about what to use to re-seal the light.

Finding a lens would be the other challenge. All I've been able to find is whole assemblies.

Rav has taken the lenses off more than I can dream of to counting.

I removed the lenses on mine to smoke them. 10-15 minutes in the oven at 350º F worked great for my. I used a sharp pointed awl to get under the lens where the plastic has a notch.

don't leave them in too long, otherwise you'll be reshaping plastic or buying new headlights.

I did it in the oven as well. You might have to reheat it a few times along the way

So what do people use to reseal? I was thinking of doing this to clean my low beams but want to make sure they would be 100% sealed when I was done.

                        Lol.

To reseal, use a High Temp Silicone Black sealer.

Factory sealant is white, using black sealant will give different look between the factory mounted lenses and the one you are fixing. Ask me how I know

                              Factory sealant is Grey.
But using Black isn't noticeable as the rings hide whatever colour is used.
