    My car is 83 and factory sealant is white in all 4 headlights. Rings cover the seam, but light is bent through the lense and black sealant gives a black eye effect which stands out if other lenses are untouched. Not noticeable at once, but definitely there as you take a good look at the front of the car.

      I used black windshield sealant when I smoked my lights and they definitely darken the lens around the outside. If you want to match the stock look, use a lighter color or clear. Black WILL look different.

          So is there a specific part number for just the lens or does someone have one in good shape that is available?
