    Headlight backing plates

    This is for you guys that installed ellipsoids..... after the install of my euro ellps I couldnt get the headlight backing plates in place. Did you guys just leave them out? Thanks

    it's harder to get the one on the drivers side in because of the ABS pump, but otherwise mine fit fine.

            I havent had an issue..... oh wait, neither car has ABS :p

              I have the same problem with my Boschs. Any ideas how to tweak it so they fit? I also have 3 HID ballasts beack there to fight with. :borg:

                It looks like the backing covers are different between sealed beam and ellipsoid equiped cars.

                  Thats probably what it is...my backing plates come no where close to fitting. I looked at pics from Jordans car. Sealed beam car and he doesnt have the backing plates in. This is my problem eh?
