Do I have everything for high beams?

Hey guys I bought my e30 with no high-beams and I'm curious as to whether I have all the stuff I need in the car to just get some bulbs and put them in or if I need more stuff.


^^ is my low beams, do I need a rubber
thing like that to keep the bulb in?

Recommendations for bulbs anyone? Thanks!

That box is for a HID setup, if not properly wired, every time you flash the highs, your lows will be dimmed out for how long it takes for them to come back up. Also those wires in the 2nd and 3rd pics look like auxiliary fan temp sender wires.

Sweet! I thought it was for HID's. So what else do I need to have HID's? does the blue connector go into something I don't have for the high beams?

The blue connector goes into the high on ellipsoid headlights. It looks they swapped them out and installed reflectors. You'll need different bulbs and connectors. If you're keeping the HIDs, install relays that go off the pull knob to keep your lows on so you can use the highs.

I did some research and all the relay video's I saw say to go right to the battery, but my battery is in the back and I doubt the relay connectors would go that far. If I got another HID kit just for the hi-beams could I hook it up to an unused fuse and just have four ballasts? 2 for lows 2 for highs?

Also, should this gooey stuff be in my headlight caps?
