    GE halogen sealed beam housing question.

    Is the back of the housing glass or metal? It almost has a transparent look to it with a layer of chromed material underneath. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I was hoping to use these for my FX-R projector retrofit since they were given to me.

    If they are glass, I'll have to find some other way.

      The back of them are glass, the housing that they sit in are metal.
