    Ellipsoid bushing replacement help

    Hello all.

I need help to hopefully locate new white bushings used on euro headlights. There are only two used, one per side, used with the ellipsoid vertical adjuster.

People are probably more familiar with the black bushings

but the white are different from the black. The black are listed on RealOEM but I don't see the white ones.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

I own the last one available (white one) brand new in bag. Make an offer. Seriously though, I went to the dealer for a second and was only able to get one.

    Here's a thread I made on it:

Thanks Kirieiw but I need two :(. I read your thread did you ever come up with an alternative solution ? Mine are manual adjusters. I was thinking of just replacing the white clip with the black ones but like you are aware the adjuster sits to far inside the black one.

Damn! I know your able to use the black clip (it will fit), and on the other side of the adjuster, you see that Philips head slot? I believe you can actually turn it outward with a screw driver so it doesn't stick in to far. In other words use the Philips head side to adjust your headlight adjuster rather then turning the hydrolic adjuster portion. Don't quote me on that though! Worth a shot however as the clips aren't to pricy.

          Dug this up on RealOEM

It's a euro part, so you have to search the European catalog; searches in the US catalog only show the traditional black bushing

Yup that's the clip I bought. Bought apparently the last one available, or so said the parts center at my local dealership.

Thanks. The only thing is mine are fully manual head lights but still use that white bushing. guess perhaps someone removed the motorized adjuster. Wonder if I can get away with using the black bushing in place of.

It takes some shopping around; when I bought my black clips, people wanted $4 for ONE clip

I google searched the part number, and found a place that sold me the one clip for like 42ยข each. So I bought 10 and stocked up; shipping cost more than everything LOL

EBay, Google, other reputable sites: there's always a place to find what you need

Possible. Both clips are fairly easy to trace with the correct part numbers; so really, it's just up to you
