Fuzzy pic and the road turns up at the end but this should give you an idea of the amount of light these deliver. Thank you Mercedes warranty scrap 😮

You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
I say "Where's your other camshaft?"

Bumping this. He may not want to give up secrets. I have a friend that works as a mechanic for Mercedes and he loaded up his sandrail full of Mercedes hid lights from warranty parts, for freeeeeeeeee!

No secrets here, I'm just pretty busy. And my installation is a bit ghetto since I wasn't sure I could get a decent enough pattern from bulbs that don't fit. That being the case, I will work on a more permanent mounting. Here is a quick pic of the bulb type. You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"

And the "installation" thank you zip ties. I want to make it look more permanent but the reality is that this works even if it isn't pretty.
I had to remove the steel clip on the back of the lamp, and grind down a few of the tabs that were keeping the bulb from sitting flush. After it did that, the brightest part of the pattern was at the center/top of the up tick, right where you want it. I believe I could go back to halogens any time since this is all reversible. But then they'd be too dim...Last edited by benz-tech; 03-16-2015, 05:02 PM.You say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
