Euro Smiley Lows + US Ellipsoid Highs?

    Euro Smiley Lows + US Ellipsoid Highs?

    Is it possible to swap a set of Bosch euro smiley lows into a set of US ellipsoids? If so, does it matter if the US frame they'll be swapped into is Bosch or Hella?

    Any downside to doing this other than the highs/lows won't match?

    The reason I ask is that I found a set of Smileys but the highs have cracked glass. I can get them for fairly cheap considering, but would prefer to just swap the actual smiley units over rather than deal with replacing the lenses

      yup, it's totally cool. I actually did this with my car when I wanted to upgrade to Smiley lights. You'll retain everything the same on the highs, just the lows will be swapped out.
