    Separate Rear Light Housing

Is it possible to separate them?

You can separate the bulb carrier from the lens, you have to do this to replace bulbs; but you cannot separate the lens from the frame, it's bonded permanently on assembly.

Why do you ask - are you trying to get more light out of it? If that's your aim, send me an email or PM, I can help.

I was going to design some pcb for leds, but I just wanted to know if there is another way of opening them without taking a hot blade to the assembly

Using a dremel will allow you to cut the openings exactly to the size you want. That's what I did when I converted my rears to LED.
