    ebay smileys?

i was thinking about putting a set of smileys in my car. clear ones not the smoked. i seen some brand new ones for around $150.00 are they cheap rip offs or a decent set of lights. if they aren't no good where can i get a set.

If I were you I'd go only with OEM Bosch or Hella.
From what I've heard, the cheap ones have glass that's prone to cracking or are made from inferior materials.

    if they aren't no good
I'm not familiar with this particular lingual construct?

they're crap. I had an argument with another guy about them in this thread:

he stopped arguing once I posted my nighttime shots (which show up pretty much exactly how bright they are IRL). I've had 2 sets of depos, there is no comparison. you're much better off with a set of used ellipsoids, I sold a pretty nice set here for $125 a while back..

              Yep those are ellipsoids.

Coated with LaminX so they look like french style lights.
They may make replacement glass for the low beam but I'm not sure.

No they don't. The only replacement lenses available are aftermarket plastic ones.

Bosch and Hella are still making new elipsoids.

Why don't they sell OE replacment lenses?
