Oh E thug... Really. If you ordered those why would you bother with these?
The differance in quality is night and day. So sorry I missed it it where you mentioned that.

E thug? Wow... :drink: Yup, I'm sitting here e-drinking my e-40 of Old (e) while almighty you and your holy euroness tells me how it is with all things e30. OH WAIT - you're from NoVA / MD aren't you... not Deutschland. Nicht sehr kuhl.

I ordered those MHWs since 1) they were in stock with Mel and 2) they are a hot commodity so should I change my mind and not like them I don't doubt I could recoup most of my costs and get all-reds or go back to stock. Doubt me? Um ok, I won't whip out the e Dick and talk about how much I've done w/ various car projects, but lets just say I could have bought a lot of these silly smoked tails at this point. My e30 is the beginning of a long work-in-progress, I'm sorry I'm not currently up to your standards, mister oh-so-cool-because-I-have-german-in-my-name. The same guy who is asking about an Infinity BaseLink is telling me how crappy the product I _WAS_ considering is?!? Ironic?

I wanted to consider something different as I was eliminating all other amber from the car (euro bumper trim, smoked hellas / smoked front turns) so I figured, why put something on the BACK that was still amber, albeit "tinted" - clearly, from what I've heard, these so called "ebay" lights are not all they seem to be, and I appreciate the comments, except yours. Go find someone else's thread to be a cock-smoker in, kthxbye.

No wonder as much as he enjoys (enjoyed?) his e30 my friend HATES e30 owners. Guys, they aren't McLaren F1s minus the "body kit" - they are nice, accessibly priced RWD european cars, christ, even the VW and Honda kids get along better than this forum, it's weak-sauce if you ask me. All I wanted was some pictures / experiences not speculation / comments, I didn't think that was all that much to ask!

And yes they leak and short out and they are cheap. So might be cheaper to save for a set of MHW's.
Which tail light leaks and shorts out?
the eBay one or the one from Schmiedmann?

with the exception of the MHWs from Schmiedmann's it's my impression that those "other" ones are one-and-the-same re: poor quality :(

Ever thought that maybe your "buddy" meant he didn't like E30 owners like you? Holy crap - throttle down, the guy gave a simple opinion that you were soliciting, and in reality he backed you up for ordering MHW's. Maybe it's time for a glass of warm milk and an earlier bedtime.

If nothing else, channel that energy into writing one of those 'rants' for Craigslist - you're a natural!

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

nope, considering I know him in person vs random people on an internet forum :curse:

PS, way to quote something I wrote well over a month and a half ago, are you TRYING to start something / why are you needlessly inciting more BS :weak:

This thread can DIAF... I already long-since got my tails, it's pretty much a non-issue at this point.

PS, yes, I'm an angry mo-fo sometimes, forgive me for being so opinionated
PPS, your sig pic is quite sexy / enviable LINUS. that your car? or Vlads? or?

Wasn't looking at thread dates, just saw this as the most recent topic. Not trying to start isht, just thought you came down a little hard. We all do it from time to time though.

Sadly, sig pic is FAAAAR from my car...mines wearing 2 faded repaints of Diamantschwarz.Once mine is repainted this spring it will be my sig.

Pic is from the "M3 - Szenen einer Karriere" book. Page 75 or so. Very cool M3 picturebook if you can get one. It's all German, but cool pics.
