    Well, it does depend on your headlight aim. HIDs will help illuminate signs above your cutoffs better. HIDs only work equally as well as halogen when the road becomes wet though, I find. I think it's to do with color temp.
    HIDs also work less well in fog/inclement conditions on the whole, so it's definately recommended to keep halogen fogs.
    HIDs will get you plenty of looks, especially when you get 6000K. A guy in a Chevy Avalanche was so interested in mine he got me to roll my window down and he asked about them. I hope he didn't buy some and put them in reflector housings though...

      Thanks man! That's exactly the type of info I was looking for. I've heard that the blue color temperature makes it harder to see in the rain, which is a huge concern of mine. I suppose that's a reason to have yellow fogs, to balance out the light color in the rain...
