I have these lights on my 85 323i and want take the lenses off the chrome backing. it seems they are glued on, and i dont want to snap them.

anyone have any experience or ideas regarrding this?

i plan on "smoking" the chrome for a darker look...

Place light in front of tire.
      Drive car forward.
      Lights are fixed.

Why would anyone want to make their BMW look like a 91 Honda Accord with cheap tail lights?

lol, his car looks better than most of the cars here... There's no way it's going to resemble a Honda!

the smoked ones aren't that bad.. I'm not so hot on the idea of smoking the reflectors though, that'll make them a lot less bright.
