I have had almost every type of headlight...
if you have sealed beams, one option is the cibie or hella e-code H4 style lamps; they drop in, and have a city light. For the price, people really like them.
If you have US ellips, which are cheaper than euro ellips generally, you can:
- run 9011/9012 HIR bulbs --brightest non HID lamps available
- get D2S lamps rebased for 9006 sockets, and use OEM ballasts/ignitors from an E46 or many many other euro cars (eg, from a junkyard)
- get an ebay HID kit --quality varies.
Euro ellips: get high quality european osram silverstar H1s, or an fleabay HID kit... be advised, the fit for an HID bulb rebased for H1 holders is a tad tight, no biggie, but in my opinion, isn't as 'solid' or whatever as a 9006 or D2s style plug.

I've got em in my 02 as well. Anyone running 2 hi/lows instead of running a hi low and a high?"We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."

There is even h4 bi-xenon setup available with moving bulb, I bet 4 of those would rock.
Too bad sealed beam cars are nearly impossible to find around here and new sealed beam adjusting parts would most likely cost a fortune.Current:
