DEPO Ellipsoid Owners ONLY! I have questions...

First off, If you DON'T have them, please don't post (unless you're that desperate for posts). If I wanted your opinion I would just read ALL the other posts that say to keep away from them. If you DO have them and think they're a POS then that's fine because they're going on my POS. I just happen to get a new set for a smoking price... and if it turns out I hate them, then I'll put my old ones back in.:-D

That being said, For those that have them... do you have a write up on hot to install them since the connectors don't match. Is there a source for the correct connectors? Anyone have a DIY write-up?

    Thanks,

Looking for my next E30. Have one? Call or text me (805) 340-3284 or email me at: dclrod@gmail.com

they should wire up just liike euro ellips - mine came with connectors, that's pretty ghetto if they don't even do that now.

people will never learn. You can get hella H1/H4's for less and actually improve your lighting instead of making it worse!

When i had the angel eyes in mine i had to make my own connectors out of butt conectors to fit over the prongs on the angel eyes. But i think they are the same conectors as the OEM euro ellips.

            Depo AE Headlight

not the most straight forward to install, but you can buy the connectors at bmw for alittle money ,or just hot wire them. They are pretty bright, and they work great. I like them. However, if I were to do it again I go with euro smilies.

Just splice and create your own connectors. Bulbs are two wires. Power and ground, that's all, Just get connectors that are waterroof and solder the wires to teh connectors (male and female). I did it with my depo lights.

FYI- get lamin-x for them, makes them last forever.

Having a hard time finding the plugs that plug into the caps(Depos). Somebody have a parts distributor that would supply these. Did contact a BMW dealer and for parts, about $10.00 worth was going to cost about $30.00 total w/shipping and handling. I'm like WTF !!. Too crazy
