    Ellipsoids to Hellas?

Anyone gone from ellipsoids to Hellas? Is there a wiring trick, or do I need a different (3 prong) harness to make it work? Thanks for the advice!!

Care to be a little more specific? At least half of all e30 ellipsoids are Hellas...

I have standard 2 wire ellipsoids on an 88 325iS, and was wondering how to convert to an H1/H4 sealed beam 3 wire setup. Thanks!

hella H1/H4s are not sealed beams...

you will need sealed beam buckets though; the H1 setup is designed to fit right into them. You will need the plugs from a sealed beam car as well.

I have the buckets, if I get the plugs do I need to make any wiring changes?

I'm going to guess that you'll have to run a wire over from the hot on the high to the third wire on the low to have all four lights light up when on high beams

Ellipsoids all broken, and for racing application need working headlights and the metal buckets are tougher and it's easier to replace when/if broken again.
