Well, you posted pictures of a hacked together ebay conglomerate, you're bound to get comments on how you can improve the appearance. There is a lot of experience and knowledge on this forum and most of the OG tends to do things right, so half way does not usually fly. We've tried a lot of things and have a pretty good handle on what works and what doesn't, so next time someone tells you something about my car, take a minute and think about how long they've been in the game and try saying to yourself "Hey, this person has been where I have been and has seen the pros and cons of what I'm doing/about to do. Perhaps instead of balking and being stubborn about 'only I know what's best for my car' I should try and see why they're saying what they are."

Just so everyone is clear I got my first e30 when i was 14, more than 8 years ago even b4 i had a license. Since then Ive had 9 e30's, including 325e, 325es, 325is diving boards, 325seta, 318is, 3 325is with plastic bumpers, and an ix. So I know a thing or two about a thing or 2. If i need any help I usually ask, I don't think I know it all but i know that i know enough!!!

^Nah I'm done with LED's. I got me some nice euro grills, so ill be ditching my failed experiment! I have to think of a new way to have signals in the front tho.

^^ I just noticed the 55w kit has a bulb 1cm longer than the 35w. will there be a problem fitting these?

well im not sure. I had the 55 watt ballasts and i ordered some generic bulbs from ebay and they fit perfectly. I dont really think 1 centimeter could make that much difference.

The bulbs should not be different, Apexcone/DDM/Whoeverthefucktheyarenow supposedly uses 55w bulbs for EVERY kit regardless of the ballast wattage. The theory behind this is that they only have to stock half the amount of bulbs they would if they were to have two wattages of every bulb type in every color temperature.
