    fitting HIDs into fogs question

I was wondering if its possible to fit the apexcone kit into the fogs w/o any modification of the fog housing. I would rather cut up/splice the wires on the HID kit than poke holes in the stock assembly. Thanks.

I have yet to install mine in the fogs but it appears that the bottom of the HID bulb housing will come very close if not going through the bulb replace door. Looks like there is no way around drilling a 1/2" hole to accept the bulb and wiring. Just RTV it after your done to keep the water out.

All you will alter is the door itself and not the housing at all...

Cool. A second question...does the HID fog improve functionality?

It will sure make them brighter. If you have yellow-ish bulbs (like 3K or so) then they can help cut through fog.

HID fogs were the best thing I ever did. Drill a hole and RTV the shit out of them and you'll be good.

you are going to have to drill something, it's simplly not going to fit without some modification.
