I have a fog light that doesn't like to come on unless you prod at the plug a bit. I need to take it out to figure out what's wrong with the contacts.

A few that I pulled out of the junkyard as well as the ones that came with my car have had loose plugs. Pop off the bottom cover, and re-crimp the connector. I used a small hammer and a punch. I then used a wire wheel to get the connector down to bare metal and soldered the connectors. You need a really powerful soldering iron, though.
