Quality seems to be a hit and miss with them. And those connectors they show plug into the stock US sealed beam connectors then into the plug for 9006/9005 lights. Where the smileys they are selling use the H1 connector. So basiclly they are flat out lieing to you about the connectors.

No idea on the quality of the lights, but the harnesses pictured will prevent you from having to cut off/ solder to your stock connectors if you have US elips. Granted they do not plug into both the headlights and your stock wiring, but at least you can use them to save your stock wiring.

Hmm, waiting for updates, specifically regarding plastic quality, reflector material (plastic or metal) and the beam pattern.

Hopefully these aren't with plastic reflector, I don't think they could be in plastic, should melt instantly and they could not sell these for sure.

Why do you say that? My US ellipsoids are plastic and have no trouble being boiled or being fried with a 55w HID.

My bad, what I tried to say it's the plastic won't hold much with higher watts of power, with stock one should be fine but you know, stock bulbs most of the time it's not enough, at least for this region.

You are correct, plastic supports bulbs, but OEM watt rate. I have seen many e36 headlights, the socket being melted due the higher bulb watts rate.

Ayways, once I get hem, I will report what are they amde and how waffleswaffleswaffles sit fit, how does the plastic look (cheap or quite solid) thickness and such things.

Also I think it would be of great benefit for many ppl here to see the light scatter/pattern of these lenses. The smoked Hella's I have do have a VERY distinct light pattern as is common with European headlamp systems, whereas North American light patterns are pretty splayed out.

I got a set a while back with angel eyes. I upgraded bulbs to 80 or 100 watts..not sure which wattage and that helped a bit. I was originally set up with U.S.A. ellips which really suck compared to Euros. Only problem now is one light gets a little water in it. Still lights though. Could be fixed with silicone I guess. They are ok.. not great. But you get what you pay for.
