Bought mine about a year ago, threw some silicon over the seals on the lows, and they don't leak or fog at all. I didn't do this to the highs, and they have a small amount of condensation on the inside. I'll wait for a hot day sometime to air them out and throw some silicon on them.

Up close they're obviously not bosch or hella, the little white lines on the bosch smileys aren't on the lens of the depos. The upside is that they do put out more light than the sealed beams they replaced.

The included pigtails are garbage, I hacked them to make them work with sealed beam harness.

The easiest way to adjust them is to take the rings off and use a screwdriver from the front. I would seriously consider gluing the small tab that holds the adjuster base to the plastic frame so it doesn't pop out and make it easier to adjust from the front.

Someday I'll upgrade to some bosch/hella, but these are good enough for now.

my right high beam and my left low beam have broken adjusters so they vibrate on the highway. i barely drive the car so im lost on how this could happen. luckily for me theyre so cheap i could just buy another set and switch my hids over

I have a set on my car. (euro smiley)

I have had ZERO problems with mine. No fogging, no plastic breaking, and the light output for my 35w 6k hid bulbs is fine on them.

To be honest for e30's I would recommend. But for other bmw I would not suggest.

ex. My friend got e36 depo euro lights, and almost every clip on the side broke. not to mention that when he was screwing down the light assembly with the turn signal in place, the slots for the turn signal to slide into broke off the side of the whole light, while everything was still pretty loose.

            thats my

in all reality thou, who really is going to pay 599+ for a set of HELLA, i would love to buy a set of hella headlights only problem is that they cost half the price of the car and on top of that knowing that you have 600 dollar headlights just scares the crap out of me, all it would take is an old lady bumping into me and destroying them....depo are cheap and yes the quality is not the best, but knowing that if i mess mine up i can go get a set for 200 is an awsome deal, lve seen some real enthusiast having a hard time to tell them apart from oem, and if we are going to hate on depos we might aswell hate on ESM for making Reps! at the end of the day plastic is plastic and alloy is alloy!

Real enthusiast couldn't tell them apart? Are you kidding me? Is everyone that has these so dumb that they cant tell that the depos stick out about a whole inch? It looks stupid. I actually have these depos but I took the time to push the pivot pins back and now the headlights really do look oem.

you mean what you worry about most is what they look like when they are off?

They look nice and new. much classier than 25 year old hellas.

anyone who doesn't want cheap chinese garbage on their car. anyone who want's lights that don't leak. anyone who want's lights that actually have functional optics. anyone that wants lights that aren't made of inferior materials. anyone who's car is worth more than $500.

yeah, ESM wheels suck too. :p

do you worry about $500 wheels and $500 tires being worth more than the car too?

                      I bought the Hellas.

They are absolutely fantastic compared to any 20 year old example, excellent light output, spotless lenses, etc.

That said, I have a "nice" car. Would I think they are worth it for a DD/beater? I might be inclined to try the Depos. I'd worry about the Hellas "growing legs", getting sandblasted (though I do have Laminix) etc.
