For that price i'd just go with the ones on ebay, my buddy put a set on his 88 porshe and they look insane, even though they are in H4 non projector housings.

Awesome price! I may be down.. Once I get my ellips.Originally posted by C ///MI asked Nick yesterday what he wanted to do.
For R3v members, he's willing to do:
$350 -normal cost per kit (2 bulbs, 2 ballasts)
GB's:
$340 -5 people
$325 -10 people
Prices plus shipping from Chicago.
The kits are the best quality and absolute best on the market, made by Acumen. To give you guys an idea on this pricing, Misterjung's kits are $400 and they have had numerous problems. Misterjung advertises Hella as the best Ballast Manufacturer. Hella is NOT the best ballast on the market, Acumen's is.
The Acumen Ballast has an operating range that dwarfs Hella's, a more powerful power source with start-up reaching 23,000 Volts, Flickerless Warmup, smaller easier to place and perfectly constructed ballast, and is more efficient. And of course all bulbs are perfect plug'n'play into the housing with the HID capsule placed exactly where you're existing halogen filament used to be for exact beam pattern. I'll be happy to email a powerpoint presentation on Acumen and their HID kits to whomever is interested.

Please PM me if you are serious about the kit and I'll inform you in a while about how much interest I get and what the deal with payment is.
For that price? The next best price is $400 and that's misterjung's stuff which I've heard plenty of bad stuff about and problems.Originally posted by Avus_325isFor that price i'd just go with the ones on ebay, my buddy put a set on his 88 porshe and they look insane, even though they are in H4 non projector housings.
You get 10 guys and save $75, not to mention this is the best kit on the market. Obviously you can get better prices on ebay, but then again, its fucking ebay and you get what you pay for.

how does it look installed?Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Yeah, I'd like to see the installed pic.Originally posted by C ///MIn a word? Awesome if you know what you're doing and can be creative with ballast placement. Remember, I also had 4 ballasts to hide. I'll try to get an install pic. The kits are as close to plug'n'play as you can get.
Thanks for the effort you're putting into the GB Chris!

I bet your friend doesn't have real HID.. more like $5 autozone blue-coated ricer bulbs.Originally posted by Avus_325isFor that price i'd just go with the ones on ebay, my buddy put a set on his 88 porshe and they look insane, even though they are in H4 non projector housings.
I may end up doing HID someday (the lighting upgrade would probably be worth it), but I have other priorities with my car. although $350 for a good plug in kit sounds like a good deal..Comment

I'll do a little explaing when i get a pic, but I dont have time for a write-up. It did turn out to be rather easy to get the wiring hooked up, but I had nick show me how to do it since he's done it so many times, their his kits, and wiring is kinda his thing...
P.S. Chris has a milf and a hot sister....spread the word.
