does anyone know the color temp of current factory bmw HID's?

current in the adaptive headlights from hella is 5400K
previous E46 bixenon setups have used 6000K bulbs, but that is the absolute max.

Lowest and most common BMW has used is 4100K

Well the main reason i want to buy them here is because i hate dealing with shipping.

Randy Sparre is selling McCulloch sets up here, a whole bunch of guys have been running them for quite a while without any issues.

oh yah, is it easy to disable daytime runnign lights? If I get HIDs, i dont wanna have to have it on during the day - i think it looks stupid when you see BMWs, Lexus' etc in the middle of the day with HIDs on.
