Disclaimer: These modifications are undertaken at your own risk. I take no responsibility for damage that may occur as a result. This was my method of rewiring which worked for my car, yours may differ.
Goal: Turn on your Highbeams regardless of the headlight switch position.
This is useful if you want to use your highbeams as DRLs (at full brightness) without turning on any other lighting.
Conditions: Highbeams still turn off when key is off. Factory wiring and fusing is maintained. Dash indicator for highbeams works as normal. Chassis wiring harnesses not modified / Easily reversible.
Step 1: Isolate Lowbeam relay from Highbeam relay.
This keeps your lowbeams on when your highbeams are triggered.
I chose to do this by modifying Pin 30 of my Lowbeam relay to grab power from the unused foglight relay spot on my car.
To reverse this modification simply replace the modified relay with an original unit.

Step 2: Provide a ground path for the Highbeam switch that bypasses the headlight switch.
Cut the Yellow wire going to Pin 3 of the combination switch connector (C202) on your steering column. This is located on the switch-side of the harness.
Connect this to a grounded bolt under your dash. I chose to use spade connectors here, you may wish to solder and heatshrink.
To reverse this modification either reconnect the Yellow wire, or replace the combination switch.

Step 3: Done! Stand back and admire your work.
