Where can I find spacer rings for front speakers?

I want to put an 8 inch mid/woofer in my stock front location. I have looked all over the net & can't find them. Anyone know who sells these?

    Thanks!

You won't be able to open your glovebox if you do that.

As Ken said, I'm not sure that you'd fit 8" in there without any problems but at the same time, if you were still wanting to find spacers, I'd suggest that you get in contact with your local car audio outlet.

Even if they were a medium sized outlet, I'm not sure that they'd stock 8" spacers but I'm sure that if you described what you wanted, they would be able to order something in for you. Just my two cents - Hope it helps,

Thanks guys. The problem is I can't find them here and I want to order them & have them sent to Laredo because I am going next week.

        Thanks again.

            Boom Boom Boom.

I'd suggest the component speakers with the stock (5.25) size or like someone who owned my car before me cut them to be (6 1/2). Works for me though I can transfer my infinities over from my daily when I'm ready.

For some killer midbass. I was planning on putting some Illusion Audio 8" midbass drivers in the front of my car matched with a 5.25" and a 1"...

Hey Stefan...got your PM. Can you call me tuesday at work?

On the 8" in kicks...how low are you wanting them to play? The Kicker thin mount RMB 8 will fit, depthwise. I got my Quart 160's in flush, but just about got structural on it to make them fit, diameter-wise. In the kicks, there is much bracing that I personally don't wanna cut. Also, the kicker craps out at any decent volume if you run them below about 75Hz, assuming 12db/oct.

I have a set of infinities that are from a ceiling mounted 1000 a pair set I have, the emits are on the shelf in the garage (not cutting holes in the cabrio for them & the Infinity tweets in the stock location sounds great) but I had these 8's in my Tundra in the doors and they sound great! I am lacking in mid/midbass in the cabrio so I want to use them.

                  Thanks,

                  Luke I will call Tuesday.

I've wanted to put 8's up front in my car, but i'm kinda low on room. If I put my speakers in a door panel later, I'll be adding 8" kodas.

if you have the tools just make some spacers out of MDF and cover them in speaker box carpet. if you can pull it off i bet that would sick, good luck getting them to clear the glovebox though.
