Blower works fine, so does the sunroof.

Turned out it was the circuit breaker. My dumb ass thought the circuit breaker was the child safety switch.

For future reference, the circuit breaker is located on the same panel as the defroster and hazard switch. It's that blank button that you think has no purpose, except it does. The circuit breaker does not control the sunroof, either.

Many thanks to all who helped out.

About everyone called it. I just had a terminology mishap thanks to some misinformation awhile ago.

rather than starting a new topic im having a similar problem. did an auto to 5 speed swap, went to take it for a ride, only my drivers window worked. before the swap both windows worked, i tried to use a known working passengerside window switch (my cars a 2 door 1987 325(e) both window switches light up but only drivers works. i never touched anything with the window lock switch in the "swap" process. I even tried to click the window lock button on and off but nothing. the k5 and k7 issue is new to me, and as far as circuit breakers go, where would it be on a 1987 325e 2 door (originally automatic). Here are the steps im looking at to figuring it out

                  1) new pass side window swich (tried it)
                  2) Circuit breaker (dont know where it is yet)
                  3) window "Lock" button (check switch)
                  4) k5 and k7 relays,(try to replace or check)
                  5) check wire on starter (which i only remember one plug, and it ran to the bottom pin off the solenoid
                  6) check for power at window motor.

does anyone have any idea what the problem could be before i tear into all this. thanks!!
