Zeff is the man!
These amps, to be honest, just had me drooling!
I like that they are not very big either. I do wish they had some TA That why all the guys were running alpine 701's
I agree with you on your spkr placement. I had a 2002 with cabinet spkrs right at the leading edge of the dash and it sounded great.
The only thing I don't like is the pathlength differences when you bring the mids up high on a 325i. The dashis just so close. Marsh had basically created a skeleton for a dash and cover 99% of with grill cloth. Mainframe it possible to litrwlly place his speakers right at the firewall directly in front of the listener. He set up a car to mimic a home audio listening setup. Excelent and the SQ was staggering to put it bluntly. All threecars had excellent distance to the spkrs. In fact, it was more than 4' away. I can reach out and touch the 325 windshield with ease.
I really liked jeffs 15" sub. With 8's in the doors I beleive you gotta go at least 12" just to have some usefulness out of a sub.
I plan to leave the6.5's til I can get done w the kicks and the dual 10" in the rear side cards. If I'm not happy with the overall impact I an ti se what the 6x9's can do with an eclipse 12". In a 3cuft ported box in the trunk firing thru the skipass.
I sure wish you'd do your dash and that you didn't live so darn far away so I could here what you got. Even current.
