    Blower motor doesn't work?

It used to work fine, but the car's been sitting for a few months since it failed smog and isn't registered anymore. I checked the fuses and they were good. I don't have my Bentley because I took it to my friends house when I was working on his mom's E30 and I guess I left it there. What else should I check? I wanted to recharge my A/C some time this week but it's kind of pointless if the blower motor doesn't work lol.

Try taking the resistor pack out and resurface the contacts. Then check the brushes on the motor itself, they might be worn out. If it is, just get another blower motor.

Cleaning the contacts fixed speeds 1, 2, and 3 which weren't working for me (was only working on 4). Can't say if it will help your situation not running at all.

hopefully the car was not sitting outdoors where some rodent could have crawled up in there and made a nice little nest in the HVAC/cowl cavity or within the "hamster wheels".... that could be a blockage when the blower motor tries to rotate.
