    Please Help! no spark.

    car is 87 325e. im getting no spark. i am getting power at the igition coil, and in the cap, the current is good in the rotor. does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

      I've got the exact same problem with a motor from the same exact year/model car. I'm in for help.

      Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

        Have you guys got good connections to the Speed and Reference sensors. The connectors are on top of the valve cover to the rear. They'll be the two on the bracket bolted onto the valve cover. Hopefully the connectors are just loose or just need to be cleaned. Hopefully the sensors aren't crapped out.

        IIRC in Bentley's there is a test to check them.

          Will check tomorrow, but since I have had the car the only thing bolted to the valve cover has been spark plug wire cover.

            Here you go. I've also heard that if the sensors themselves have oil or gunk on them they won't work properly, so you may want to jack up your ride and clean them off. They will be on the Driver's side of the Bellhousing.

              Yup contact cleaner did the trick. Now a new problem...
