The idea is to see what your throttle/brake/clutch inputs are in an in-car video.

What he said. The original idea was to dash mount them so I can see my hands and out the front window while "seeing" what my feet are doing all with one camera.

A bunch of people said they'd like them too. I imagine it might be a good gauge to check if you really are flooring it when you say you are. EG "I swear I floored it all around that corner". now you'll know.

For others? It'll probably just be novelty.

Nice, glad to see that you got it to work. Another alternative would be to bastardize wah pedals - they have a potentiometer with a gear on it and a toothed bar that turns it as a pedal is depressed.

You have two bias pots to adjust both min and max, right?

I contemplated an easy way to fit a gear onto the pedal and mount the potentiometer but doing so cheaply seems to be impossible. Double stick tape and a flex sensor seems to be a quick and dirty way to do it.

Yes, max and min. Altho, the min is very... annoying. It's just a variable pot resistor from the rLo to ground. It makes the adjustment range... low. You can easily make it hit the max mark, but the min mark is occasionally one or two LEDs all the time.

So this goes on your brake pedal or gas pedal?
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

or clutch. you could put it on your door if you wanted. Anything that bends/pivots and you want to know how much it's pivoting.
